Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country-pop music as well as songwriting gained prominence on television after she was cast as Alex during the final three seasons of One Tree Hill. The track later appeared on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She focused on her musical career without quitting acting, and starred in films that appealed her fans such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. In September 2016, her time in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th place finish.
