Lady Gaga is an American pop singer, songwriter, and actress with an estimated worth of $320 million. Lady Gaga, also known by Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta began her career in musical theatre and burlesque in New York's East Village. After struggling for several years, she finally made it famous in 2005 when she recorded her first album and wrote songs for Fergie, Britney Spears and the Pussycat dolls. Her debut album, "The Fame", was not a great popular, however five months after its release the first single from the album, "Just Dance", was playing everywhere. It was clear that her relentless tour across Europe and smaller clubs in the United States had paid off. Multiple songs from the album were being played regularly in the radio by 2009 and she had received numerous Grammy nominations. The singer also took home two Grammy Awards for her perseverance and dedication to her craft. She continues to create excellent music and was the subject of headlines since after. She is a vocal social activist, and an excellent exhibitor her appearances at awards shows always receive their own attention.
